Linde’s commitment to community is comprised of two philanthropic programs – Global Giving and Community Engagement – which complement our mission of making our world more productive.
These programs work collaboratively to identify meaningful opportunities for employees to provide significant, lasting value to their local communities. In addition to the positive impacts externally, such efforts help the community learn about Linde as a neighbor and help to develop and engage employees.
Linde’s Global Giving Program supports thousands of initiatives that promote STEM education, diversity & inclusion, environmental sustainability and health and wellness globally. Our spirit of giving is further demonstrated by our compassionate and generous employees who contribute their time, talent and monetary donations to charitable organizations that matter most to them.
Community engagement represents employee- and corporate-led efforts in communities where Linde operates. While efforts vary greatly—from launching formal workforce development efforts, renovating local safe havens, raising funds to combat health issues, or simply encouraging those in need—the goal of all community engagement efforts is the same: to achieve multiple benefits for many stakeholders, both external and internal. As a significant part of Linde’s sustainable development efforts, the community engagement program strategically works to deepen impact, engage employees and drive business goals.
