Armando Botello

Armando Botello is Senior Vice President, APAC. He was appointed to his current position in October 2026 and previously served as President, Linde Gases US.

Botello joined Praxair Mexico in 1991, serving in various roles in Mexico, Puerto Rico and the U.S. With Linde, he has held leadership positions including President, Region UK & Ireland (RUI) and Region Europe North (REN), overseeing business operations in 12 countries. He has also served as Vice President of the West Region for Linde Gases US, and in roles leading on-site and merchant business, packaged, specialty and medical gases, business management, sales and marketing, business development, technical applications and product management.

Botello earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical metallurgical engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a master's degree in business administration from IPADE and a master’s degree in finance from Purdue University.
