RobecoSAM Annual Corporate Sustainability Yearbook (2020)
April 2020 - Linde has been awarded a Silver Class distinction in The Sustainability Yearbook 2020, published by S&P Global in collaboration with RobecoSAM. Linde scored among the highest in the global chemicals sector. The Sustainability Yearbook is the world's most comprehensive publication on corporate sustainability.
The results in the yearbook are based on the 2019 Corporate Sustainability Assessment which evaluated more than 4,700 companies across over 60 industries, awarding recognition to 458 organizations. Companies with a Silver Class distinction must achieve a score which is within 5% of the score for the best performing company in their industry. This is Linde's second consecutive acknowledgement by The Sustainability Yearbook since the merger between Linde AG and Praxair, Inc. in 2018.
Ethibel Sustainability Index (ESI) Excellence Europe (2019)
October 2019 – Linde has been reconfirmed as a constituent of the Ethibel Sustainability Index (ESI) Excellence Europe. The ESI indices universe is composed of companies included in the Russell Global Index that display the best performance in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Jones Sustainability World Index (2019)
September 2019 – Linde has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index in its first year as a new company since the merger between Linde AG and Praxair, Inc. was finalized. The DJSI World comprises the top ten percent by sector of the 2,500 largest companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index. To be listed, the companies must demonstrate continuous improvement in a variety of economic, ecological and social criteria.
FTSE4Good Index Series Constituent (2019)
July 2019 - Linde plc remains a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series following the June 2019 index review. According to the FTSE4Good website, the FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. The FTSE4Good indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.
