Rita Langhein
What is your name? In which area and for how long have you been working for Linde/BOC?
My name is Rita Langhein. I have worked for Afrox (ISP) in the Customer Support Centre in Germiston, South Africa, since December 1999 as a Customer Support Advisor and I was recently appointed Customer Support Team Leader.
What are your main job responsibilities?
I manage a team of Customer Support Advisors responsible for Debt Management on National Contract and PGS Accounts. We strive to provide a world-class quality service to Afrox customers.
What is the most exciting thing about your role?
As a Team Leader I work hand-in-hand with Customer Support Advisors, motivating them to achieve their targets. I also welcome the opportunity that I can gain experience at a managerial level.
Why did you decide to join Linde/BOC?
Afrox is a very well-known and respected company in South Africa. I get a sense of security and pride to be associated with the company, and there are a lot of opportunities within Afrox to further my career.
What do you like about Linde/BOC?
The company has a reputation for being at the forefront of technology. The systems we are using in the Customer Service Centre are world-class and we are proud of this. The company culture emphasises studying further and self improvement. There is also an employee wellness programme that shows Afrox’s commitment to its employees.
Where do you see your career going?
I have just been appointed as a Team Leader so I would like to establish myself in this position, then I’d like to become a Customer Asset Manager within the next few years. |
