Survey 2006
In spring 2006 Linde conducted its first Corporate Responsibility stakeholder survey. The aim of the survey was to find out whether Linde is on the right track from the viewpoint of its stakeholders. The questions covered aspects of its activity in the areas of environment protection, human resources, society and capital markets. The results will be used to optimise the company's strategy by reducing deficits and building on existing strengths.
For this survey, Linde has selected about 1,400 people in whose opinion we are interested. Of these people, some have a direct relationship with Linde (clients, suppliers, investors). But with many other groups the relationship is fairly indirect (other large companies, associations, academics, politicians and NGOs). Through their work, the individuals contacted in these groups influence the direction of the company in varied ways.
The survey primarily concerned six countries that are important markets for Linde: Germany, Austria, France, the United Kingdom, Sweden and the Czech Republic. Also covered were selected experts from Switzerland and the EU (Brussels).
