Robert L. Wood

Robert Wood is a Partner in the consulting firm The McChrystal Group, specializing in leadership development for business organizations. He was the Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer of Chemtura Corporation, a specialty chemicals company, from 2004 until 2008. Prior to joining Chemtura, Wood served in various senior management positions at Dow Chemical Company, most recently as business group president for Thermosets and Dow Automotive from November 2000.

Wood is a director of MRC Global Inc., where he is Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Governance Committee. He is a director of Univar Inc., where he chairs the Compensation Committee and sits on the Audit Committee. Wood was a director of Praxair, Inc. from 2004 until 2018 and was the Lead Director and the Chairman of the Nomination and Governance Committee. He also was a director of Jarden Corporation, where he was a member of the Nominating and Policies Committee and Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Wood was Chairman of the American Plastics Council and the American Chemistry Council, and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee.
